- Do you keep our audio?
- No. Microphone audio is streamed live to our speech-to-text provider and discarded. The captions and translations live in your church's account. Delete them any time.
- What does one credit equal?
- Roughly one minute of live captioning. A typical 60-minute service uses about 60 credits. We bill from the server's clock so a paused or muted service isn't charged.
- What if the wifi drops mid-service?
- Volta reconnects automatically and resumes from where it left off. Saved transcript segments survive page refreshes and crashes.
- Can the congregation see captions on their own phone?
- Yes. Each church has a unique QR code and short link. Anyone in the room scans it, picks their language, and reads the live feed. There's nothing to install.
- How accurate is the translation?
- Better than generic translators because you can add your church's vocabulary — names, places, scripture references — to a custom glossary.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Cancel from the billing portal and your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Your remaining credits stay usable.
