Privacy Policy

• Account info: your email, and the name of your church.
• Billing metadata: subscription status and credit balance. Card details are held by our payment processor, not by us.
• Transcript text: what your microphone said and the translation, stored in your church's account so you can review or export it later.
• Operational logs: connection events, session timings, and errors, used to make the service reliable.

• Recorded audio of your services.
• Personal information about people watching the public caption page beyond an anonymous session cookie used to keep their language choice.
• Advertising trackers. There are no ads in Volta.

• Lovable Cloud — authentication and storage for accounts and transcripts.
• ElevenLabs (Scribe) — real-time speech-to-text. Audio is streamed live and not retained by us.
• Stripe — billing and card processing.

Volta's data is hosted in the European Union by default. Some processors may move metadata to other regions to deliver the service; we use providers with appropriate data-transfer safeguards.

• Transcripts: until you delete them.
• Operational logs: 30 days, then aggregated or removed.
• Billing records: as required by tax and accounting law.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your church from Settings starts a 7-day grace period and then permanently removes your transcripts, members, and credit history. To exercise other rights, email privacy@volta.app.

Volta is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify church owners in the app or by email.
